New Team Sign-Up Hints
Team Name: Your new team's name will be used by you and your teammates each time you sign in to
The Official Scorer (along with username and password).
Therefore, your team name should be something that makes logical and recognizable sense to both you and your teammates.
Your team name must also be unique within The Official Scorer's set of team names.
Team name is a unique identifier associated with your team only. It is similar in concept to an AOL screen name in the sense
that an AOL screen name uniquely identifies an individual—no two AOL users may have the same screen name.
Similarly no two Official Scorer teams are allowed to have the same team name.
You, the team manager, may change your team name later—as long as the name remains unique within The Official Scorer's set of team names.
To change your team name after you've submitted this form and logged in, go to the Team Info page.
Team Nickname: Your team's nickname will be used throughout your site as the "familiar" name by which you call your team.
The Team Name attribute describe at the top of this page might not end up being as "user friendly" as you might like; therefore, this Nickname
field is provided instead.
First name and Last name:
These values are for you and will show up in your roster.
Username and Password(s): These values, along with your team name, will be required for you to gain access to your team web site within
The Official Scorer. Please record this information for later use.
The other fields:
The remainder of the fields apply specifically to you as the manager of this new team.
Some fields are required while some are optional.
The accuracy of this information is most important should you encounter any situation where you would like technical support while using
The Official Scorer.
Should you need to send email to support@officialscorer.com, it really helps us identify you and your team if we have accurate and complete information!

As soon as you fill in this form and submit it successfully, an email message will be sent to that address with your sign-in credentials.
Of course, since you have entered those credentials yourself you might remember them and you may not need that email message, but our experience has shown many times over that
the absence of that external record of your sign-in credentials might slow you down later!
